Compatible with both iPhone and iPad, MathU RPN provides a consistent user experience across devices. On the iPad, the orientation adjusts seamlessly, allowing for rotation from portrait to landscape keypad layout using the provided Rotate button. Additionally, when using a hardware keyboard with an iPad, inputting button names can swiftly execute functions, eliminating the need to manually press the calculator keys. For iPhone users, the option exists to lock the orientation to either portrait or landscape keypad layouts or enable automatic switching based on phone rotation.

Specializing in financial calculations, MathU RPN caters to various needs such as mortgage amortization and cash flow computations like IRR and NPV. The calculator also includes features for working with dates and extends many financial functions to support odd periods in line with HP-12C conventions. On devices with taller screens, like most iPhones, financial registers are conveniently displayed on the keypad.
